Providence Performing Arts Center filled Father’s Day night for three-time Grammy Award

winner, and Canadian jazz pianist and singer, Diana Krall. Her highly anticipated new album

“Turn Up The Quiet” debuted May 5th on Verve Records and is the title-album for her world

tour. The album speaks for itself, as lyrically, you don’t need to get far to realize how much fun

this album was for Krall to record with Grammy award winning producer, Tommy LiPuma.

The most outstanding part of the show were Stuart Duncan’s fiddle solos, for they graced each song with an upbeat break from classical jazz. The combination of jazz piano, stand-up bass, fiddle, guitar, and drum set made for a great performance that is a definite recommendation to see
