PENTATONIX

by LESLIE dela VEGA

Just when you thought you're night couldn't get any better....they took the stage. Pentatonix performed at the BB&T Center here in Sunrise, Florida with much vigor and to incredible enthusiasm.

It was the opening city of the U.S. leg of their Pentatonix World Tour 2016, which began this month in Chiba, Japan.

The next song introduced Mitch Grassi's smooth vocals on  â€œNa Na Na." As they moved onstage, each step was full of non-stop energy. Left of stage, right of stage, center. They couldn't give any less. They drove right into "Cheerleader" with each of them mesmerizing the crowd. It was what the fans loved and Pentatonix gave it to them. Pentatonix cultivated a strong and dedicated fanbase which was easily obvious this evening.  There's a reason why no other

acappella group is making waves that PTX is making right now. And I just witnessed it. They are moving forward and fast.

The crowd went wild just moments before they appeared, each atop larger than life boxes lit with different colored silhouettes of each of them. Scott Hoying starting off with "Cracked" a Pentaholic favorite. Smoke filled the stage and as they came down towards the front, the energy escalated. I thought I'd be lifted in the air by the sheer force of the fans high pitched frenzied excitement.
